VAWD Compliance

The Mission Pharmacal Company (MPC) manufacturing facility and warehouse are located in Boerne, Texas. Four separate buildings consists of approximately 225,000 square feet of conditioned space. The facility and land are owned by MPC.

Security and alarm systems are provided by Tyco using the C-Cure program. Emergency exits are equipped with audible alarms which require a key to turn off. Only security personnel have alarm keys. All instances of triggered alarms are investigated to ensure no diversion activities have occurred. MPC employees and contracted security guards are assigned electronic access cards upon employment and acceptable criminal background check clearances. Access is determined by the manager in charge of Security (Director of Facilities) and the applicable department manager based on specific work requirements. Security cards are configured and assigned accordingly. Traceability of access by employee or contractor and area is kept electronically for a minimum of thirty (30) days. The electronic card access along with well-placed security cameras, which are regularly monitored, and adequate supervision ensure that MPC maintains a secure operation. In addition to the aforementioned systems, security guards perform a physical walk through to check areas every two to three hours during non-business hours.
